Authoritative and Rapid Identification System for Essential biodiversity information

ARISE is short for Authoritative and Rapid Identification System for Essential biodiversity information. It is a joint project between Naturalis Biodiversity Center, the University of Amsterdam, the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute and the University of Twente. It was made possible by a subsidy from the Dutch Research Council (NWO), as part of its National Roadmap for Large-Scale Scientific Infrastructure programme.
