Save the date for 2024!
We had great lectures, movies, workshops, we talked with each other and visitors of the museum, reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, and even a biodiversity-inspired beer tasting. We loved working together with Biodiversity XL, Waarneming.nl and NLBIF, and we especially loved having all of you there! If you missed out on this year's Arise Days, the slide show above should give you a taste of what it was like. The biggest news was that ARISE now has the tools to go and out collect all the reference specimens we need. This is so important to us that we're saving it up for the next blog post.
For now, there are two things that we would have you do:
1) Save the date. Wednesday March 27 2024 is the next Arise Day. We'll probably do just one day because BiodiversityXL has a planning of its own, but stay tuned for more information.
2) Think about what you would like to see and do there. We listen to what you tell us! For instance, we had the three-hour workshops this year because you guys said you wanted it. We'll be asking you for input as soon as we start organizing the next edition.
